This is now the FINAL schedule for the The Provincial competitions are being held from June 12-17, 2010 at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, ON. The final schedule is posted below. Please note that the FINAL schedule is now set and posted below. There are no changes allowed at this point (you may, however, perform your pieces in any order). If you must cancel for any reason, we would appreciate your sending us an email to mail@omfa.info. SPLIT CLASSES You will notice that many classes this year are split into Section A and Section B. This has been necessitated by the high number of entries in those disciplines from across the province. In such split classes, each section will be adjudicated separately and have separate workshops, but no results will be announced. At the end of the workshops, ALL competitors will gather together in the room specified for a "playoff". At that point, the top two from each of the two sections will be announced, then will immediately perform one of their selections again (repertoire at the discretion of their Adjudicator). The two adjudicators will then declare an overall Winner, a Runner-Up, a Third Place, and Honourable Mentions from each section held earlier. Playoffs are an exciting part of the Provincials Finals Competitions! We congratulate you as a Provincial Finalist, and hope you enjoy your time at the Provincial Competitions--we wish you the best of luck!
